Given it a bit more thought... Players who don't play sound like they will get properly beasted anyway to get fitness levels up, so 1st XI players might as well play. There are some players who should start to allow Conte to get a look at them in alongside other first XI players in his system. This XI gives proper run outs to the backup WBs, gives Rodon a chance to show Conte what he can do, similar for Ndombele and also Bryan. This also gives Moura, Emerson, and Reguillon a well deserved rest. If we are winning easily then Kane and Son should come off no later than the hour mark, and picking this team really highlighted how badly we need at least one other top class CF in January.

Lloris
Sanchez Dier Rodon
Doherty Skipp Ndombele Sessegnon
Bryan
Kane Son
I am really interested to see how good Doherty and Sessegnon will be in this system. Unpopular opinion, but I suspect Doherty will thrive - his time at Wolves showed when he gets in the box he has very decent scoring and assist stats (8 and 8 respectively in his last season with them), and he is a lot more dangerous than Emerson in that regard. Sessegnon also looks made for this system and will be a lot more composed / dangerous in the opposition box than Reggy, although Reggy appears to have a stronger mentality.

Although the formation shows as a 3-4-1-2, I'd be happy just to see Bryan playing in the role that Moura has been occupying in a 3-4-3. I think Bryan's composure on the ball and movement will be an upgrade and, even though he lacks Moura's aerial ability and acceleration pace, there have been signs of a good understanding with Kane in the limited minutes he has had so far.

I might have skipped watching this game under Nuno, but I am really interested to watch for improved patterns of play developing and also see how some of the squad players will fare under Conte.

That's an interesting line up, could be real good if they can keep it together in defensive sense. Is Bryan fit though?

I’d like to see Dane Scarlett play in a system that will furnish him with some supply for once and a chance for Markanday to get at least half an hour. Other than that we can rotate most of the team anyway against this mob.
I warned you not to underestimate that "mob".
