Really little to choose yet again, who will partner Davies + Skipp or Höjberg and If Skipp doesn't return, not even that.

He'll start Lo Celso for Kulu. He wont pick that midfield, there's too little creativity.

Ive a feelihg he'll play Dier one more time and mix up the tactics a little....ie go long sometines.

Needs must and he needs a result on Sunday.

Veliz comimg on as well could be a good tatget man.

Vicario; Porro, Dier, Davies, Udogie; Sarr, Skipp, Lo Celso; Johnson, Richarlison, Son.

No doubt in my mind. I’m captaining Solanke in FPL, too.

With Richarlison having a ‘niggle’ I would go with:

Vicario

Porro Phillips Davies Udogie

Sarr Skipp

Lo Celso

Johnson Veliz Son

That's the only right answer. Emerson is poor as a CB and Richy and Hojbjerg would work well as subs in the second half.

Fuck me we really are down to the bare bones now. Thank god this is the last league game for 2 weeks. Could potentially have Mickey and Madders back for United and that would be huge. Add those two and Kulu in to the team, it becomes a whole different animal.

Taking Son out is annoying, as is Pape, but even if we had Solomon available from the bench too it would be a big boost.

Fuck these fucking international tournaments.

If we've accepted that a big part of last night's loss was fatigue. Surely we're in trouble here against a Bournemouth team that would have had more rest again.

Veliz from the off might not be the worst shout

I've changed my mind on the front 3.

Gil was awful last night but Richy might have more impact off the bench.

Gil Sonny Johnson as the front 3. Richy on to replace one of the two wide men at 60 and shift Sonny out wide.

Fatigue? 19 games and quite a few haven’t played anywhere near that. If he’s running them into the ground he should taper off the training,

We're not putting a youngster in for his debut against the form striker of the PL, come on now.

Not quite how it works though is it?

We've had players playing almost every game recently because we don't have the squad depth to rotate, and games coming in very quick succession

Richarlson's not one of the fatigued players though, presumably. It's the defence that's knackered

Son and Johnson have to do so much more, on and off the ball. I can’t think of a less physical pair of wide men.

But the injuries mean we can’t “rest” either.

Phillips and GLC in please Ange.

I’m not really sure what the answer is here but I would strongly worry about fatigue if we start the same from 3 as last night. I know Gil wasn’t great but maybe having him on for 60 or so mins could help stretch the opposition defence. If we don’t rotate then i think Richy, Son and Johnson might run out of steam by half time. The squad already looked fatigued yesterday so something will have to change and if it’s not the tactics, which it won’t be, then it will have to be the personnel.

Lo Celso in for Deki is an easy pick, I know Dier gets slated by many but he is fresh and is still admired by some managers out there, so right sided CB in place of Royal maybe. Apart from a couple of errors thought Skipp did OK against Everton , he has had a weeks rest so is an option if recovered from his knock
Think it will have to be same front three , Gil offers very little but Veliz after his goal might be worth giving more time if there is some doubt about Richy.
Bench should be interesting , will Scarlett get a spot.

PS Scarlett not available until 1st Jan.
