My preference would be to treat it as a league game and go full strength. If we get a 2+ lead then sub on.

I want us to go for the FA cup this year. We will almost certainly be back in some form of european competition next season so this year is a good year to go all out for it.

There’s nothing I hate more than sub keepers starting over first choice in cup matches. Still not over Cudicini starting in the semi final

I'd go:

VIcario

Porro
Dorrington
Davies
Udogie

Hojbjerg
Bentancur
Lo Celso

Kulusevski
Richarlison
Johnson

And I'd use Donley and Santiago off the bench.

I think with 5 subs allowed (over the 3 occasions) it makes cup games like this a bit easier to manage. You can start your main team and still get half the outfield player them off.

I would say go full strength, we can then look to bring certain players that need a rest off if we are in a good position, or do changes we have to make to tweek the system.

Veliz out for a couple months. No surgery though.

After Rodrigo Bentancur made a surprise return from injury against Bournemouth on New Year’s Eve, that means Alejo, Cristian Romero, James Maddison, Ivan Perisic, Ryan Sessegnon and Manor Solomon remain our longer term absentees, while captain Heung-Min Son (Asian Cup) and Pape Matar Sarr and Yves Bissouma (Africa Cup of Nations) are away on international duty.

No mention of VDV in that list as he's been training all week, which is fantastic news.

Given that we are 3 points off the top of the PL and have a tricky few weeks while lads either return from international duty or get back up to fitness i honestly don’t know why anyone would risk key players like Vicario, Porro, Udogie, Bentancur, Lo Celso, Johnson or Richarlison.
Much rather win the cup than finish 4th

Van De Ven trained this week and might be involved in the squad tomorrow. But definitely doesn't sound ready to stat or play a major part.

Was hoping we'd hear something about Solomon. Maybe tomorrow is too soon for him.

Ange said in the presser- "Guys coming back, Micky van de Ven has trained with us this week, he's got through three sessions. We're not sure about tomorrow whether he'll be involved or not. I think everyone else is as is."

Sorry a bit off topic. Taking the old man to game tomorrow night which means I'll have to drive which i haven't done for years. Any tips / suggestions on parking within 20 minutes walk of stadium? I don't mind paying up to £30.
