As much as I like Poch and as much as I give respect for him on what he has done, but seriously, he has had so many "2 weeks" to turn this shit around, but it hasn't. He had the whole pre-season to turn it around, but he couldn't. I just do not have any faith on him to turn it around anymore.

Dear bozzaSPUR, You rated my opinion as a spam. It would be interesting to hear why it was a spam to You?

So on a scale of 1-Chernoybl, just how toxic is in it here tonight?

As for me, I bought a ST in the south lower as I thought that's where to best support would be but it turns out I'm near some right characters who include a child who stands on his seat all game shouting in a high pitched voice while the adults around call our players **** every five minutes - the lad was even squeaking "get it in the mixer" which I thought was a term long gone.

Then on the way home I trudged to Ikea in the rain, got stuck in the car park for half an hour or so then took an age to get home as the A1010 was shut and various diversions and traffic works - this meant my 1hr journey turned into a 2hr journey so I'm absolutely chuffed to pieces with today!!!!

As for the game I was impressed with Sheffield United who I thought pressed fantastically well and caused us to make loads of mistakes. We were marginally better than we have been recently which was almost entirely down to the two major bright spots - Son and Lo Celso.

Too many under-performing players to go through (and I'm depressed enough already) but I thought Dier really struggled today - not sure if it was the early yellow but he gave the ball away so many times.

I've been Poch in forever but I'm finally starting to have doubts that Poch can/will turn this round as there is so many different areas that need improving.

All in all, not a great day but I'll be there for the next one - COYS

Oh and someone asked about the atmosphere and other than the family near me the general vibe seemed fairly OK - nothing too toxic.

Oh also - VAR can do one, absolute shambles even when it works in your favour - change it or bin it but it can't stay in it's current format.

Poch deserves a couple of windows to turn it around, we owe him that much if his heart is still in it. We can see the problems and I am sure he can too. There is also not an obvious candidate out there to replace him.
Couple of windows? God Almighty!!!

He has had a hand tied behind his back for last couple of years. If we are in same position this time next year then may be the time to change. There would be a queue of clubs after Poch if we sacked him and who exactly do you want to replace him?

Let the clubs have him. He turned down Maddison & Tielemens (however you spell his faking name). He had a few quid to spend, and he could of had both players. So don’t buy into he had nothing to spend for few Windows. Guy is too stubborn. A quick reminder that VJ was his championed recommendation and signing!!!

that says it all as far as I am concerned.

It’s not a question of who we want, it’s a question of who the club know are available and attainable. As fans it’s highly unlikely the full fan base will approve of the new manager. However, this is no reason to stick with what we’ve got when from a footballing perspective the club is in free fall.

He is really not as good as some fans think he is. Extremely questionable judgement on player acquisitions. Turns down Tielemans and Maddison yet has a hard on for players that clearly aren’t good enough.

We are in an unfortunate position and it will be this way for a while. Poch has over achieved for so long his got you lot actually thinking we’re a top club. Poch will phase out the old guard and rebuild (if given the time he deserves). It won’t be all plain sailing I’m afraid kids. Can anyone actually suggest a suitable replacement? Man U, Arsenal and Liverpool are bigger clubs. Chelsea and Man City have more money. Our natural position is 6th. We’ve had a good run. We’ll have a good run again. We won’t always be able to maintain overachieving. This post will probably infuriate a lot of deluded people.

His dreadfully poor selection of targets has been his downfall. Turned his nose up at good players when we desperately needed the injection of fresh blood and hasn’t done anything to address the DM or fullback positions despite it being blindingly obvious that they have been areas of major weakness for some time now.

It’s all culminated in the rot setting in and things getting beyond the point of salvageability. It’s a real shame as if he’d been more proactive and addressed the squad’s weaknesses when they actually developed (instead of two-three years later) he could have kept the players on side and built a true legacy here, but I think it’s too far gone now.

Can you give me a reasonable answer as to why you think we should finish higher? Based on financial backing, fan base, past success?

Because we have the third best squad in the league. It’s really quite simple. The problem is the manager isn’t getting anywhere near the best out of the players. How is it so difficult for you to see? Christ.

Chelsea are third with Tammy fucking Abraham upfront. Leicester are fourth with a 33 year old Vardy.

Poch is making Kane look like Andy Booth.

I’d go as far to say that our recent success (as much as I’ve enjoyed it) has come at the wrong time for us. 2 years ago we were better than Liverpool. However, they spent a load of money on 2 players who turned them into a world class side. We haven’t been able to do that as we’ve spent huge sums on a new stadium.
