Sod that, i’m glad we did what we did. Spurs have needed a new identity for so long and i’m glad this team showed ❤️ and massive balls to take to them with 9 players.
Um I don’t disagree with any of that and haven’t said anything to the contrary. I’m still very concerned about VDV’s injury as it could affect the rest of the season quite significantly.

Was that drum noises they were playing in the south stand or an actual drum?

Massively disappointed by that. By the defeat, the senseless manner of the defeat, but more than anything by the players we've now lost for upcoming matches. Van De Ven, Romero, Udogie and Maddison (probably) sidelined for crucial games. Quite shocked at the way we lost our heads and our discipline and gifted a crap Chelsea side 3 points. Unforgiveable really.

How about 1-1 parking the bus? Because that was our only chance for a draw.
10 disagrees says a lot about our fan base and why we love Ange's style of football so much, personally I loved our approach. With 9 men we were on a hiding to nothing so why not play high and give it a go, it would’ve likely been 4-1 anyway just that if we’d camped on our own box they’d just have had a shit ton of the ball and tons of chances as well as scores the goals whereas the way we kept playing it was worth watching still because we were so so brave and kept giving it a go.

I agree with Hoddle too. Playing that high line with 9 men is dumb. Liverpool had 9 against us and we struggled to break them down and got an OG in added time. Chelsea were able to walk goals in here because we played at the halfway line with 2 men fewer and no pressure on the ball. Just dumb.
Hoddle is not a good pundit when it comes to Spurs and he's wrong here too.

Expectations for most Spurs fans have always been that top 4 would be a major achievement - now the rest of the football world will reset as well since our team has been destroyed. The honeymoon is over but it will help to manage external expectations over the long term.

I
Scored 3 tap ins against 9 men and dropped to his knees like he’s scored a worldy… cringe.

He missed 2 more from about 4 yards out too, what a bellend.
He might just be the most annoying player in the league. Just watched his interview and laughed out loud ‚biggest club in the world. I scored a hattrick‘. Keep your feet on the ground - what an idiot seriously.

I’m worried the Maddison one could be a nasty one too. I know he came back on but they hooked him quickly enough to make me think he was still in pain.
Hopefully it was more a case of him feeling something and rather than have him run ragged and make it worse, get someone on who can give 110% to the cause

But he wasn't. So it's really not.
You said we should have got one of their players sent off. Whether that’s within our control is obviously debatable but even if we accept your premise you are saying we need to wise up because the officials failed to do their job. That’s not within our control, it should have been 10 v 10

ok...on the Dier disallowed goal....if it was a chelsea head the last contact, that was still a correct decision?. is a fluffed header considered a deflection?

correct decision. The ball wasn’t a controlled attempt from the defender. I think that’s the key it has to be controlled/mistake rather than a deflection
