Welcome to the Spurs vs Chelsea - Day 11 Match Thread! COYS!
My niggling worry is that we also have to lose a game at some point and wouldnt it be typical to lose to Chelsea when we are in a rare period of being in better form than them going into a game, making us favourites (not a common occurance against them) and of course they have our old (previously worshiped) manager in charge. I would like to think form prevails and we clock up another bottom 10 team to the list people keep pushing, proving we are only on top due to easy fixtures, but i am a little worried...Really looking forward to this. Have to embrace Ange's positive mindset. We're due to give someone a proper pasting and how delicious if it was them. They must be shitting bricks.

Some thought we'd crumble at Palace with the chance to go 5 clear before everyone else played, because that's what Spurs of old would normally do. This manager and team have a different mindset. We're at home, so much like United and Liverpool we need to make it a cauldron, a fortress, a night club.My niggling worry is that we also have to lose a game at some point and wouldnt it be typical to lose to Chelsea when we are in a rare period of being in better form than them going into a game, making us favourites (not a common occurance against them) and of course they have our old (previously worshiped) manager in charge. My one worry is Sterling and Mudryk's pace on transition. Our system's biggest weakness is when we turn the ball over and an opponent can find a quick switch wide.
I'm very confident we'll win, but as they say, styles make fights, and that is one area where they match up well to our weakness.Believe Grasshopper.

My main concern is that at some point, Chelsea are going to actually convert some of the multiple chances they create in a single game.
Poch really can't afford to go out with the fanbase on the turn, can he? He needs a cup run.Any chance they play first team players tonight in the cup?
