We could be in 4th place by the kick off of this match.... but a win would see us back on top 2 points clear of the rest and 17 points ahead of Chelsea!

Really looking forward to this. Have to embrace Ange's positive mindset. We're due to give someone a proper pasting and how delicious if it was them. They must be shitting bricks.

Has Sterling been floating around or has he been mostly on the right? Would be happier to have Udogie on him most of the time à la Saka.

The Palace game seems soooo long ago yet there's still the best part of a week to go until Chelsea. 😡

My niggling worry is that we also have to lose a game at some point and wouldnt it be typical to lose to Chelsea when we are in a rare period of being in better form than them going into a game, making us favourites (not a common occurance against them) and of course they have our old (previously worshiped) manager in charge. I would like to think form prevails and we clock up another bottom 10 team to the list people keep pushing, proving we are only on top due to easy fixtures, but i am a little worried...

As I said, embrace the positive mindset and approach the game with a firm belief that we'll hand them their arses on a plate.

Some thought we'd crumble at Palace with the chance to go 5 clear before everyone else played, because that's what Spurs of old would normally do. This manager and team have a different mindset. We're at home, so much like United and Liverpool we need to make it a cauldron, a fortress, a night club.

Believe.

Besides, Arsenal have a tricky game at Newcastle and could lose their unbeaten run before we play leaving us as the only unbeaten side remaining.

My one worry is Sterling and Mudryk's pace on transition. Our system's biggest weakness is when we turn the ball over and an opponent can find a quick switch wide.

My main concern is that at some point, Chelsea are going to actually convert some of the multiple chances they create in a single game.

Only concern is how sharp we will be with this delay between last game and this one. At least we've had a full week and a bit to prepare. It's a long wait though. Hopefully all are fully recovered including Udogie. The atmosphere should be great for this one.

I'm very confident we'll win, but as they say, styles make fights, and that is one area where they match up well to our weakness.

I agree thats the threat they pose but they're still struggling to score gaals ( Luton and Burnley games aside)

Any chance they play first team players tonight in the cup?
