We started decent but a great finish has done us.

What I can tell you is loads of you on here are laughable - really laughabl.

You wanted £200k contracts handed out like confetti - admit it, you know fuck all.

Plus I'm certain Lo Celso will get an early second half 2nd booking. A twat like Dean would love to do that

It does honestly look like the hunger has completely gone from the team on top of relying on players who just aren't good enough.

Until the powers at be realise that players like Alli and Moura are not good enough, we will struggle. We will win nothing relying on these players across a league campaign.

Dele convinced everyone he was a superstar when in fact he's an english Tim Cahill, can't even get in the national team, that's how poor he is.

He's so slow in everything he does on the pitch.

Sums up my thoughts exactly.

Wish he'd good to Madrid when he was overhyped. I actually googled his age during the last game to see how close he was to retirement / the late 20s when Eriksen et al decide to move on

Its not even the defence thats shit atm, its our creativity, even the 2 goals vs Norwich were from set-pieces ..., shows how shit we can be without Son

Another fabulous half of football from Spurs! I'm aware it's not on to criticise Jose, but we are consistently being out worked and out fought by lesser sides and surely bringing in "the special one" was supposed to motivate them as a bare minimum?

Need to remove Moura who the ball is not sticking to at all and perhaps Lamela to inject a bit of aggression? Perhaps drop Dele and bring on Skipp or Winks to get some possession in the centre?

So many of you calling for Levy to make big signings but we did and where did that get us?
We made four signings over the course of two years, one of which is a loan to buy and the other two of which were not big. Tanguy was only BIG singing.

How many signings did other top four teams make in past two years?

Just hope there is at least a tiny tiny sliver of truth in the Bale link. God, we need God.

let us all pray that bale comes back, even though he’s 30 years old, I’d take him back in a heartbeat. He’s a match winner and that’s what this team does not have

I'm starting to get really worried about our complete inability to string together passing moves. This has been a consistent issue since Jose took over and doesn't seem to be improving at all week on week. What the fuck are they working on in training as it's not like our defence has improved either...
We don't know what to do with possession. It's ether long ball or counter attack.

As usual, no fast transitions available = no hope.

The other night Kane and Alli looked completely shagged and it was like playing with 9 men. So no different today, and add an insipid Moura into the mix and it's like we played the half with 8.

Fatty in the 28 shirt with his Pub League fitness and conditioning - you just have to laugh.

Lo Celso might be a decent technical player for someone, but he looks like a futsal player unable to kick it properly and further than 5 yards which I don't think will get any joy in the PL, and definitely not for a team that has no idea how to play intricate tiki taka ball.

Sessegnon is little boy lost, again.

Aurier and Sissoko have been Aurier and Sissoko.

The two Belgians again look really decrepit.

In conclusion, not good so far. At all. Some of it is tactical, some individual, but we've got to find some sort of spark and catalyst to build a performance second half and get back into the game. Little sign of it so far.

The situation with Ndombele is frustrating and worrying. He is an incredible talent and at times really quite Dembele-esque. He showed some great moments today, and was one of the few players out there who looked like they could actually impact on the game. But he does get himself stuck in quite a bit and like Dembele his body is going to take some punishment in the PL, certainly on a level he didn't experience in France. If he isn't fully fit, and the injury concerns start to get into his head, his relationship with Mourinho is going to sour quickly.

It is so frustrating because also like Dembele, he is a very special and unusual player.

Meanwhile, Lo Celso has to cut out the extra curricular stupidity. The play acting and getting booked for telling the ref when to book someone else is just not going to help anyone.

It remains to be seen what kind of business we did this summer, but Ndombele needs to get fit and Lo Celso needs to get wise.
