I don't understand how Lescott can look so good for Everton and so awful for England.

Arshavin is MOTM thus far though. Everything positive has come from him. Good control, pace, touch and movement.

Lescott has played at LB for Everton probably more than he has played CB for them. By playing there, it allowed Moyes to play his favoured partnership of Yobo and Stubbs.
