Our squad looks great. A lot of depth compared to other squads, considering that Bale, Dos Santos, Sandro and Walker didn't need to be named.

The funniest is that Ali Al Habsi has been named in two squads!

And why doesn't Matt Derbyshire count as home grown?

I think this is the biggest shocker for me. Given how much money they have it's a very poor looking squad in terms of depth. None of their U21 players apart from Sturridge have any real premier league experience.

Then their 19 man squad looks like:

1 Cech, Petr No
2 Ivanovic, Branislav No
3 Cole, Ashley Yes
4 Essien, Michael No
5 Santos Do Nascimento, Ramires No
6 Lampard, Frank James Yes
7 Benayoun, Yossi No
8 Drogba, Didier No
9 Mikel, John Obi No
10 Malouda, Florent Johan No
11 Bosingwa Da Silva, Jose No
12 Zhirkov, Yuriy No
13 Ferreira, Paulo Renato Rebocho No
14 Kalou, Salomon No
15 Turnbull, Ross Yes
16 Terry, John George Yes
17 Dias Costa, Alex Rodrigo No
18 Anelka, Nicolas No
19 Sampaio, Henrique Hilario Meireles No

With the 4 bold players currently out injured that's them down to a squad of 15 + Sturridge, which isn't even enough to put out 11 and a sub bench of 7.

Given that 1 of that 15 is a GK, that gives them only 4 spare outfield players that are currently fit. That really shows a massive lack in depth to me.
