Bit of experience for him.

Was talk of him possibly being subbed.

He sounded sharp before that. Also sounds like Gunter's seeing a lot of the ball.

Like to see Bale kept on and lifted with the half-time talk.
Needs to be able to bounce back harder, regardless.

He's doing alright. Zhirkov is one tricky customer, and they are managing to get Gunter isolated in 2 on 1 siutations, but so far he is dealing with it.

To be honest, Wales deserve to go in 3-0 down. They have been awful and playing 1 up front, who quite frankly looks barely pub league standard, they are going to get nothing out this game.

Pav's pen was one of those inbetweeners. Hennesey was a bit close to it for my liking and a slightly better keeper would've kept it outwith ease, it was a dodgy height for a soft pen, but hey, it went in.

Only problem with bale's was he took it like a free kick, you could see where he was going to put it about 4 seconds before he hit it because of his body position.

I dont think Wales have been that bad, been getting men behind the ball to stop Russia and it is working.

Pav showing great signs of exactly the type of player we need to replace berba.

He falls pretty deep unlike bent who plays of the last defender, and with his back to goal seems at ease with laying the ball off to midfielders and then turning and pushing forward. His ball retention is good and he seems two footed by that effort he just let fly.

One criticism ive just noticed of berba, he wasn't great with his left foot was he.
