Player Ratings - 2014/2015 season

Dont know whether this thread is already in existence or not, so if it is then please transfer my post accordingly.

I like to rate players based on golf scores so here goes:-

Eagle - Kane, Lloris, Rose

Birdie - Bentaleb, Eriksen, Chadli, Dier

Par - Vorm, Vertonghen, Mason, Lamela, Fazio, Dembele

Bogey - Davies, Townsend, Capoue, Soldado, Paulinho, Stambouli

Double Bogey - Walker, Chiriches, Kaboul, Adebayor

I could live that but would go further and put Eriksen at Par. Also a bit rough on Walker me thinks. I would promote him to Bogey

Anyone else didn't have enough time. Would give Poch a 6. Ratings do consider expectations somewhat. That is how Dier got such a high rating. Think he is quality, but he isn't a RB. Chadli gets an 8 based on scoring output alone. Can't ignore that return. Eriksen will be rated lower by some, but I think that is recency bias. He was immense the first half of the season, single-handedly picking up a good number of points for us.

Yep is a bit silly, no way was Walker worse than Paulinho and Stambouli hardly ever even played!

I think double0 needs to go stand in a corner and think about what he's done.

Surely Bentaleb is higher than Dembele and JV?

I agree, but for a player to perform that well in the first half of the season and so poorly in the 2nd half, I would struggle to rate them higher than a 6.5.
