Why would you choose money and potentially being in rotation with half a dozen others as opposed to say signing for us.

I don't know but as a non-footballer; I would rather earn less and play an integral part in a team on the up... Heck if you prove yourself that much you could earn a dream move as opposed to one to Chelsea.

Makes sense to me. A lot these guys are just kids though and probably easily influenced by greedy agents and clubs whispering sweet nothings into their ears.

Yeah, but Chelsea are still Chelsea. CL winners, Prem champions in living memory etc. Not to mention the fact that it looks they'll be getting the best striker in Europe, Falcao, this summer while we'll no doubt be scratching around the bargain basement looking for a top striker who's willing to play for £70k a week.

If I can see that as a Spurs fan then I'm sure actual players, who have no affiliation to the club, can see it too.

Another midfielder to add to the pile, utterly ridiculous if he goes there.

Potentially:

Isco, Hazard, Oscar, Mata, Marin, Moses, de Bruyne - and thats just attacking midfielders.

Fuck off chelsea!
Dont forget Schurrle! and De Bruyne was said to be moved to that CM/DM position but it seems he is certain to go

Yeah I'm 12? I don't even get it? Was that an attempt at some droll cutting humour? Please explain...
Of course players go where the money is, same as every other walk of life. I admire your sense of romanticism but it doesn't sit with reality

But in my post I clearly stated it was from a non-footballers perspective... So obviously there will be a sense of the romanticism... No need to try and make a sarcastic comment though!

But when the money is being earnt faster than you could probably spend... A difference of 30-40k is trivial.

there are so many of these so called superstars around atm, but not enough rich clubs around to bid for all of them

there isn't as much money around as there used to be so hopefully we can crack it for some sort of world class player soon enough

They won't be in Europe next season, cause UEFA banned them from playing in continental competitions. They've just imploded after their exit in Dortmund. The fairytale is over, they will probably be ripped apart by English, German and Italian teams. Isco, Caballero, Joaquin, Demichelis and their coach Pellegrini are all looking for a new job.
Speaking of Caballero, I've always wondered, why isn't he the #1 for Argentina? Everytime I watch him he impresses me A LOT, I think he's easily a top 3 keeper in La Liga, and people always say Argentina have a problem in GK.

Sorry for being off topic. Obviously Isco is amazing and I'd love him here. ;)
