But the other so called big six have all won the premier League or as in this season Liverpool will win it we are still the only one that can't.
But those excuses always get trotted out such as everyone was against us it was the other teams cup final, when do we stop being a mentally weak club and actually deliver on success.
When we get new owners. Owners who demand success.

Optimistic as I always am that they'll consistently let us and themselves down over and over again.

Club is cursed to be nearly men forever

I think we’re finished.

After watching the last 18 months, we need a massive overhaul that we just can’t afford.

this is the most downbeat I can remember being and I hate watching this terrible side under completely the wrong coach

It's painful watching us these days but football can change so quickly. I'm more optimistic we'll win trophies over Jose but we need to make signings. I'll feel a lot more optimistic if we make a couple of signings this month and then even more so more signings in the summer. The stadium is built and we have the best manager to win things so now it's up to Levy to back him in the transfer window. I'm not holding much hope for this season but with the right changes we could be set up for an exciting season next season.

yeah i think we done goofed here.

unless levy has had a lobotomy recently and goes out and gets jose 5-6 quality experienced players in the prime end of their career then i don't see how any of this is going to work.

Honestly - a childs quote mate. Unbelievable.

We play in the best stadium in world football, in London with huge financial resources - prob top 8 in world football on last accounts. But Rob from SC thinks we are fucked

I’m not really sure I can be bothered with another decade or it all. Some highs, too often offset by the lows.

The 2010s surpassed any realistic expectations I ever had as a Spurs fan. I was happy with a trip up to white hart lane every month or so, and never had any delusions of anything other than a pint and maybe a win here and there.

To quote James If I hadnt seen such riches I could've lived with being poor. We are now in limbo, too big to be happy with lack of success, not big enough to achieve success.

In hindsight I should have retired after the champions league final and lived out my days happily living off the land and never watching football again.

I don't know about you guys but I have never recovered from the UCL final. And to make things even worse my Brazilian team lost against Liverpool at World Club Finals. I know this competition is like nothing for Europeans but here in South American is huge af.

After that I am just feeling very depressed about football in general.

I understand how you feel and i guess other fans too. Imagine how the players feel, it will be much worse than what any fans feel. I think it's the manner of the defeat as well that was quite crushing. To be given a suspect penalty after only 28 seconds is quite hard to take. It's one of many reasons why the decline in this team has happened so rapidly.

Spending bucket load of money on new players also does not guarantee success, especially since we need to sign at least 5 of those now. Too many mercenaries around now.

We have a world class stadium and training ground but it's on the pitch that matters it's like buying a castle or a palace then filling it with IKEA furniture.

Good analogy. With a castle/Ikea furniture we can decide when to throw out the furniture and get nice ones in; it's what being 'rich' is about. If it was the other way around you would get a cushy life but your house wont grow. that's called being poor.

We are in the rich category. It's a good thing.

I doubt I'll see the end of the 30's so I'm pinning my hopes on the 20's and have to remain optimistic. I'm sure the club won't let me down.
