Certainly very sporting from Dhoni and Fletcher and he should be credited for that.

But the general consensus is still that the umpire called over (on the BBC anyway) because Kumar looked like he'd given up.

Either way it would have been a real shame if the game had turned on something like that.

On a non-controversy point, it's good to see Morgan getting some runs.

dont think Strauss/Flower would have made the same decision - Bell was out due to his own lack of concentration

pleased he is out so not to make too much of a difference

Agree re Morgan such an exciting player and great that he is doing it against the best

Hmmm...we need the tail to wag a bit here. Another 50 on the board from here would still be okay.

Can Trott move enough to bat properly?

Due to the amount of time left i think we will need a lead of at least 350 to win - I know that goes against history but India have so many batsmen who can occupy the crease for a long while its made for them

I'm not sure.

I think so far in this series they've only had one who can occupy the crease for a long time and Dravid can't win it on his own.

In other news the umpires in this series so far have been comically bad at times. And I say that as someone who doesn't really know alot about cricket.

Part of me is hoping my fucked up eye means I can't go to work tomorrow. Would be a good day of cricketing.

There really is alot of runs in this England team. When you consider that our 'tail' includes Broad and Swann, who have the threat of runs in them all the time, and add Bresnan, who offers more in that department than Tremlett, it's an impressive batting lineup.

I'd actually go as far to say that even if we don't win this series by the two tests needed, that this team is the best in the world at the moment when it's all working.

And Jimmy's test average is awesome, mainly due to being not out. But runs is runs.

The ability of our bowlers with the bat is the best in the world. Even Anderson at 11 can bat a little bit! Broad and Bresnan could both play 7

I would say that England most certainly are at the top of test cricket at the moment. Certainly momentum-wise they are!

Didn't see any of this today due to being at Glamorgan-Notts but this looks to be coming to an excellent climatic last 2 days cricket!

Hopefully England can post a big total and skittle Indian out, good series so far!

Surely there's enough for them to declare?
