It really is a stupid stupid time for a pointless England friendly.

The wife is out tonight, I've got the flat to myself, and I think I still won't watch the football. A complete waste of everyone's time.

I am not English or Dutch ( my wife is Dutch though ) but I'll watch the game and I am more interested in this match than I would be a CL game this season

I can't remember the last international friendly I watched that was any good to watch. Even the okay ones are only okay up until the 14 substitutions that happen in the second half.

It's just a trumped up pre-season game really but stupidly in the middle of the actually important football.

I've found it hard to enjoy internationals for ages - may i suggest you utilise the telly for titties and turn your living room into a wank-furnace for the duration of your solitude? Might as well make the most of your empty house, i'm sure the wife would get annoyed if you tried it during Eastenders.
