Vlahovic has said he is not signing the contract.

So good luck in getting 100m€ For him - none of the 3 will pay that.

Buyers market my ass
It is a buyers market for B level talent. All of these clubs will happily sell their entire bench for peanuts to keep their few A level talent players for one more year in hope the old market returns.

Has there ever been an instance of a club nicking the replacement for a player they want to buy?
Does that improve their chances of purchasing the player they want or not?
Answeres on a postcard please.

Further to this saga if the player and Madrid have an agreement, the player actually wants to go to Madrid and if Madrid and Fiorentina have come to an agreement, why is the player not in Madrid taking a medical?

I'm just not having any of it.

This may well be just posturing, but i'm never going to stop laughing if it turns out that City getting involved prompted Fiorentina to raise their asking price, rendering him out of our price range and meaning we're unwilling to sell Kane to them at any price.

Way to go City... Force the price up on our Kane replacement so that we drop the price on Kane.

Are we sure the Kanes are the dumbasses?

Thing is it's a bit like Ebay, Spurs bid €70m then City bid €90m, they accept and Pep says "Are we getting Harry for €150m or what Daniel ?", Levy says "OK deal" City withdraw Vlahovic offer leaving us as next highest bidder and we haggle from there.

We are so obviously winding up with Marcus Thuram. And we'll pay too much for him. And he will immediately become dead weight.

The sad part is if we had bought a proper striker with potential any of the last three seasons we could have copied the Liverpool playbook when they sold Coutinho and we could have just been patient and rotated Sonny with players already in the squad and waited for the right opportunities to strike. They brought in Salah on the first day of the following transfer window if I recall correctly.

I like Paritici a lot. I'm hoping he has observed the Liverpool/FSG playbook. But his history at Juve is a little scary in that regard. Patience hasn't been his forte. Now Juve are going to be carrying his dead weight (Ramsey and Rabiot and more) for a while.

£50m I think this is a good deal, however an £80m price tag imo should be getting you the finished product, after 1 season that would be a big risk, then again it’s not my money and I’d be happy to see him here

I am not too fussed with Vlahovic, in the sense that we have to sign him at any cost.
Its absurd , if ACF is asking 100mEur for him , with him having just 2 years left on deal, already making clear he isn't signing a deal. Fiorentina have zero leverage here.

AM already have to sell to buy him. And the agent is asking lot of commission apparently.

If City want to give up on Kane & go for Vlahovic, not bothered. That means, Kane comes to back to us with his tail between his legs and stays for good. Its then about buying a good back up.

If City buys Kane and we have the money -but I really hope we we dont spend 100m Eur on Vlahovic.

21 year old with 1 good year in Serie A is only good to an extent. Osimhen was bought from Ligue 1 for 70m eur by Lazio after 1 good season. He has scored 10 goals in first season. So, these signings are inherently risky anyway.

I cant see how he can be more than 60-70m eur. If fee goes north of this, I wont mind us backing out and going for other targerts - Isak, Jonathan David are good targets IMO

Just a thought, we’ve been told that Paratici gets on well with Fiorentina’s higher ups. Could it be possible that Paratici has asked them to leak the 100m price to help us out in the Kane negotiations? ?

Fiorentina want €100m, wonder where City will start their bidding? €35m? €42m? That's how they think this works no? Unsettle the player and then don't stump up what he's worth.

No they are preparing cash up front on full amount
