Tottenham are looking to Italy for striker targets this summer and have Dušan Vlahović and Simy on their radar.
Spurs are in the market for attacking support for Harry Kane, who chairman Daniel Levy is determined to keep at the club this season despite interest from Manchester City.
Fabio Paratici, the newly appointed managing director of football, has already moved for Serie A players and landed Pierluigi Gollini from Atalanta and is trying to sign his team-mate Cristian Romero.
Vlahović and Simy are players under consideration at Spurs after impressing last season. Serbia striker Vlahović had a breakthrough season at Fiorentina in terms of goalscoring, netting 21 times in all competitions. He has attracted interest from other clubs in Europe and is valued at around £50 million.
Simy, 29, would be a cheaper option after Crotone’s relegation from the top flight. The Nigeria international also broke through the 20-goal barrier but could not prevent his team finishing in the relegation zone in the top flight.
