Tomiyasu, Andersen and Lacroix was my thinking, albeit Milenkovic may end up being an alternative option to Lacroix due to contract situation. Skriniar and Kounde just seem a bit of of reach financially. I think Andersen’s time in PL makes him clubs first choice.

There’s your Nuno back three with the flex for Tomiyasu, Tanganga and Davies to slide out and make it a back four.
I see the talk earlier in the week of Nuno looking at a front two and I’m thinking 352 (which may look more like 3142) getting the best out of Doherty and Reguillon at wing back, plus allows Hojbjerg to sit in behind Lo Celso and Ndombele, freeing them to go and attack.

I take your point but what if the other options are also talking to other options and finally choose another option over them? Also if we are talking to Skriniar and Kounde and Lacroix are their three other better options looking for CB's for whom they fit the bill because if there are only two we are in with a chance of at least one of them.
Personally I also think we aren't quite such a bad option as many of us think.
