I do think City are still keen but only if Levy blinks first and comes closer to their valuation which sounds unlikely after recent developments.

Jesus starting and Kane coming off the bench for us felt like acceptance from both clubs that a deal might not happen.

If we lose Kane we need 2 or 3 players though really to improve our attack. We would need a 10 to go together with someone like Vlahovic. Then we need another forward who can share the goals because Vlahovic won't get 20+ goals yet.

So it seems like we would be the only team seriously interested in him. Although I imagine the fee quoted and Kane staying puts an end to it.

Fiorentina will want a £100m release clause minimum and he won't but I don't see him signing a new contract without a release clause so put the two things together and I don't see that happening.

The talk was he hasn't signed on again because he wanted a more realistic release clause. Should he sign the price would be about what they want now, or even less if he doesn't so unless some big clubs come in he's gettable

He shows his respect for his club/fans in a way, he says the right things and fair play to him, his body language and actions are great for Fiorneta , but he still hasnt signed a contract with them, he says all the nice things you wanna hear from a player at your club, but he has had a new contract from end of last season , he aint penned it......... I would love for him to join us. Personally i hope he dont sign a contract and we go for him hard next summer.
