The difference is that Lukaku left for game time as they had a top striker at the time (possibly Diego Costa?). Chelsea are playing Havertz as a false 9 instead of Abraham (as Werner can seemingly only play wide), they pretty much have no striker and yet they are still desperate to sell him.

Agree. Considering Romero has similar experience and is a CB I would say 40-50 is fair.

I get the feeling this ain’t happening. Seems like it’s more likely he signs a new deal. Obviously hope I’m wrong because we need to be thinking short and long term now, and I love the idea of a Vlahovic and Scarlett partnership in maybe 2-3 years. Could be really fun and I agree it’s probably now or never for this guy if we want to sign him.
