Vlahovic does seem an interesting option but still can’t see it unless Kane moves on. It doesn’t make much sense for his career unless we tell him Kane is 100% leaving next summer.

Besides we have only been linked in the Telegraph. I’ll start believing it’s a real possibility when he get picked up elsewhere.

This thread was started back in July from a Times article. There were also links from his native Serbia around that time. Usually an indication of genuine interest. We've now got the Telegraph pushing it and Herc's ITK. Romano has said Paratici is a big fan.

I think it's clear he's one of our top targets and has been sounded out. It all comes down to how we plan on using our budget. I wonder if missing out on Kounde has released more finances towards ST.

We had to add Gards to the small list of ITKs we've banned from SC a while ago. He was taking information from other ITKs posted privately and sharing it with others to try and maintain his reputation as ITK (and then taking their information and using that as well). While he may have some contacts (which we're no longer sure of), the majority of his stuff is just taking other people's (often private) information and whoring it around. He broke a lot of trust and risked people's sources (and jobs).

So yeah, it's a bit rich that he's slagging Herc off who, love him or hate him, for all his fat fingers and bad grammar, is 100% connected and gets legit info.

From a purely financial perspective, If I were City I'd get Ings and wait a year for Halaand.

Nothing against Kane, just makes more sense. I know there are other factors involved though but purely financial, I would wait it out.

I'm pretty sure it was someone using that handle that WASN'T Gards. Seem to remember him complaining about its on here.

Paratici is believed to also be an admirer of the 21-year-old Serbia. For Tottenham to make a move for Vlahovic, Espirito Santo would need to switch to two up front.

The Serbian is an out and out striker and would not fit alongside Kane in a 4-3-3. Espirito Santo has used a front pairing in the past, whether with a back three or a back four, occasionally utilising a 4-4-2 with a diamond at previous clubs for periods.

Vlahovic has less than two years remaining on his contract at Fiorentina but the Italian club are looking to maximise the fee they get for the young striker if he leaves this summer and his goal tally last season only helps that, with talk of a price tag close to £50m.

For that sort of money and with Spurs maintaining their stance that Harry Kane will not be sold, Vlahovic would have to be a regular starter rather than a back-up option to the England captain and Tottenham would have to move more players out the door.

Doesn’t surprise me as he only has two years left on his contract. His value will be a lot less next year than this even if he has a good season. Even after a great season I couldn’t see anyone paying more than 30 million for someone with a year left on their contract
