The 4th round is now called 'the Playoff' and if we win it we will be in the group stages. We are amongst the seeded teams for the playoff, along with Sevilla, Werder Bremen and two other teams, I think depending on who qualifies.

Quite right.
Us, Sevilla and Werder Bremen are guaranteed to be seeded. If Zenit get through, so will they. And if Ajax get through so too will they. If one of them doesn't but any of Fenerbahce, Kyiv, Braga and Celtic do, then that team will get seeded. It's all down basically to UEFA's co-efficient system. I have no idea how they arrive at the points total but all those 6 teams I've just mentioned have a higher coefficient rating than both Auxerre and Sampdoria.
So, assuming seeding goes to plan, our Play-Off opponents will be one of:
Auxerre
Braga
Fenerbahce
Kyiv
Sampdoria

So we've decided there is seeding then? There was someone saying a while back that the seeding had been dropped this year.

I'm worried about the last 3 teams purely from a "same-old-spurs-losing-to-wolves" reflex in me, but obviously the lads will be proper up for it like the Arsenal/Chelsea/City games so I think (and pray) we will get a result.

To be honest, if we cant beat any of those teams to qualify, we don't deserve to be in the group stages.

So we will get one of the above teams mentioned????? BSC Young Boys would be the easiest, I reckon we will get Kiev though.

I think whoever we get it will be really really tricky, it's going to be a tough draw, i pretty sure before Arsenal or whoever finished 4th use to get easy teams, i don't remember it being this hard.

Last year they change it into two sections - Champions and non-champions. The champions are from the smaller nations. The non-champions, which we obviously are, are teams from the middle and bigger leagues that didn't win the league. So instead of getting the champions of some nation like Lithuania, we could get the runners up of Portugal or something similar.

Arsenal were in the same section last year and didn't face too tough a game in Celtic. Celtic will probably be one of the harder games we'd get, but we should still be favourites against them.

Do the seeded teams get the second leg at home, if so what would be the date of the home leg?
