His reaction didn't look like a four weeks off reaction. Time will tell, I hope the assessment proves correct

Two of those first four weeks we are off. Then we play Norwich and Cardiff, where Sandro can more than fill in.

Great news.

I know what you mean, but Sandro is and will be first choice anyway - he won't be merely 'filling in'.

Brilliant news that!

What with international break now as well, hopefully he won't miss too much action at all.

...AND breathe.... ooof, was worried after the doom and gloom in here that it would be longer.

Great news.

Hopefully he'll back in contention for the match day squad against Chelsea at the end of the month.

If he only misses two League games against Norwich and Cardiff - will be amazing.

I'm stunned to be honest. The way he was carried off looked like a season ender. I would have considered anything before Christmas as a result so 4-6 weeks is good news :)

Fantastic news! Feels like a new signing after the fears of 6 months! Obviously it might take a bit longer than 1 month but nowhere near as bad it seems. Was feeling a bit doom and gloom with the fears added to the result yesterday. Now I'm feeling real good again about our season. Get well soon!

Just seen this on ssn, fantastic news. I did something similar, hurt so much I thought I had broken my ankle, took a few weeks and I was playing again. No need to rush him back while Sandro is fit and well, and when back can give Sandro a rest to avoid him breaking again. No panic buy DMs today then!

Capoue update

Etienne Capoue has this morning (Monday) undergone an MR scan which has revealed the midfielder suffered an ankle sprain against Arsenal on Sunday.

The recent signing from Toulouse was injured after 72 minutes at the Emirates Stadium and was immediately taken to hospital to consult with a Foot and Ankle specialist. Early indications suggest the France international will be unavailable for a period of four weeks.
