In a weird way a clean break would be better than ligaments being ruptured. The amount of pain he was in did look like it was a break more than anything else. Could be wrong though. Hopefully he's okay.

If he's back in our colours before Xmas I think we can be pretty pleased because it didn't look good - especially his reaction to it.

Indeed. maybe the wise cracks about us signing all the CMs available will stop now. When you play with 3 CMs you need depth. There'll be the usual niggles on top of this as well. Thankfully we've covered ourselves.

And for the other players it represents a chance to impress.
