This is exactly what I did playing a few years ago. No gas and air required, so given Capoue seems far more of a beast than me, I suspect it may be something slightly worse. Everyone's pain tolerance is different though. If however, the fibula is fractured in line or above the level of the talus, this causes instability of the ankle joint due to disruption of the not only the above mentioned ligaments, but also the supporting ligament between the fibula & tibia & would therefore require surgery (open reduction & internal fixation - ORIF - a combination of screws & plates) to stabilise the ankle joint.
The rehabilitation for these is significantly longer - probably a minimum of 3months. This classification system is known as Weber's.
Completely disagree. I love capoue from what I have seen, but Sandro is a far superior player. Capoue is his backup not visa versa. Sandro shields the back four much better, but capoue is better going forward. When Sandro came on yesterday I think we looked more solid in the middle.A big blow for sure IMO. Can't get much better back up for the DM position that Sandro but I have to admit I wanted to see him continue occupying the position. He generally sits more than Sandro does and is more composed on the ball. I don't want it to sound like an unnecessary player comparison but I just really liked what he'd bought to the team and had enjoyed watching him.
When a big man goes down and looks like he's in that much pain, I'm expecting a few months out.
However, Sandro is back - the hero. This is the beauty of having great squad depth
No reason for L 'Equipe to make anything up although I wonder if they know the full story. When Sandro got injured we released a statement saying he wouldn't be out for too long, I don't think the club will be saying anything about injuries anymore untill they've got about 5 Doctor's opinions.
Hope this turns out to be true.Hotspur Related @HotspurRelated5m

He's a beast like Sandro. His body has healed a double break into no more than a sprain within 18 hours!
Really good news if true.
I was truely gutted yesterday seeing him limp off. Up until that point he was our best player; well in the second half. Capoue is going to be immense in the future. So happy we have him, and his Sandro healing powers. TheBeast#2
Bloody hell wish he did limp off mate
From where I was sitting he was stretchered off with his leg in a brace and wearing a oxygen mask
