I'm glad he's okay. I think he's going to be a great player for us, though he gave the ball away a lot yesterday.
LOL at some of the comments above. I was watching the game with two other Spurs mates, and we were smugly talking about what a tough, brick shithouse we now have in the middle of the park - and then alas he was rolling around on the pitch with his hands over his face almost in tears -- because of sprained ankle... our conversation kind of tailed off and then there was an awkward silence.
Literally just saw him in North Finchley McDonald's - was wearing a protective boot and on crutches!
I'm not being funny but it has been less than a week since he sprained it. Were people expecting him to be back in light training or something? Of course he'll still have a boot and crutches - his legs are his career.
