A few years ago it was agreed that play would only stop for a head injury or if the ref stopped play. Both teams knew the score and temporarily it worked.

It annoys the hell out of me that we have gone back to fans demanding play is stopped every time someone goes down. Most of the time they're play acting anyway.

Several times now Maddison has made runs in behind and Romero refuses the ball over the top. Wish we could try that more, especially against teams like Villa who employ a higher line.
