Yeah we didn’t really want him all along despite spending the majority of the transfer window working on it, ITK suggesting it was close, old reports being dug out that conte wanted him at chelsea, ITK saying that paratici/nuno wanted him in the summer but levy pulled the plug. Nah we weren’t interested, next.

Not really aimed at you in all honesty, the excuses for failing to sign him are just a bit tiresome. Whichever way you look at it and for whatever reason it ultimately didn’t go through, we failed. We failed to sign a player we almost certainly wanted and who would’ve almost certainly improved our squad. That’s tough to take when you’re linked with him all window and is in all likelihood the player we were most likely to sign.

I'm surprised at just how many of you are so pent up about things you can't do a single thing about? Do I want us to bring in quality? Absolutely.

But whoever we do sign will have my backing. If we don't sign anyone I am still calm, because I can see what is being done with the current squad under Conte.

Whatever happens, happens. Doesn't do anything to my personal life whatsoever.

A lot of people seem to read one negative media piece and go nuts over it. Why?

So they don't get bantered by their mates for Spurs being stingy or tight or shit. The age of social media.

We all want Spurs to be great, but as you, getting so wound up by something we have zero control over isn't healthy.
