Another 6/10 for me. Wouldn't really have significantly strengthened any area of weakness. Not saying Diaz is a bad player but he doesn't address the imbalances in the squad.

Pretty much every club misses out on players each window but that is not the whole story, it's just the chapter you choose to focus on.

We have signed lots of players.

Its not about signing LOTS of players though is it? it's the calibre of players and the way we SEEM to operate, ie trying for difficult deals with 3rd party ownership with less than a week left, and the fact the traore deal seemingly went on all month only to still be missed out on ( perhaps not our fault, we dont know the ins & outs) i understand peoples frustrations, and then they get accused of being bedwetters etc for raising SOME very valid points! yes some go over the top with their rants, but if people dont want to see it, stick them on ignore or just scroll past the posts!

I get a bit irate with people like Orstein and it's often met by people that disagree on here pointing out that they got certain deals right etc. For the record I'm not saying these people aren't connected in the football industry they obviously are. My point is they don't have contacts at every top club in Europe, like they come across on Sky sports. They can literally be asked about any player linked to any club, and their reply is nearly always the same "My sources say". It's totally inconceivable that they have inside information on every club in England let alone across Europe, and what they mean by "According to my sources" in a large number of these cases is they read it on twitter probably posted by another Journalist.

Like I say that doesn't mean they don't have some sources but believe me their actual information streams are nowhere near as wide as they make out. A lot of the time they are basically on air aggregators.

Mate, I don't know how anyone can't realize this... Fabrizio for example, gets a bit right, but there is no fucking way he knows about every team's transfers. Just impossible. But apparently he's gospel

As much as I am not the protesting type, if the board is affected by this and actually acts on it then good on them.

It's how we got rid of the super league, it's how we ended up getting Conte.

I am certain he started off knowing very little and was essentially a glorified aggregator. He spent his time working out which journalists get good info and which don't, proceeded to follow all of them and then piggyback on any good info. Because he did the groundwork properly, he started to appear to have good information, throw in a few catchphrases and he starts to get a big following. Now I believe he does get some information but it's clear he still refers to the information of others, and this isn't a secret because he does cite them when he does it, he just makes it appear like he has had corroboration for that info when he hasn't necessarily.

Saw a note from Trix in one of the player threads which was about his being tired of the incessant whinging and he would see us all next Tuesday. It isn't clear whether that is for the player threads or the entire site. I hope it isn't lost on everyone b****ing and moaning makes for a f***ing toxic environment that ultimately can chase away those whose opinions and information we seek the most. to be blunt, i always thought Spurs fans were different but am far less certain about it now.

Can't be arsed with these threads anymore. It's not just you I'm pointing at because there are so many doing it now and yours just happened to be the one I've clicked on but all this should be in a completely different section of the forum. I'm tired of wading through it.

If I wanted this level of misery in my life I'd just move my ex wife back in.
