I'm so glad Utd are clueless. Instead of chasing Sancho all summer they could have signed Skriniar and Partey and really improved their first XI.

Arsenal are shot shy and lack creativity. Sounds like Partey is not what they need as he’s not creative enough. If they want to spunk £45 million on someone they don’t need, more fool them. We’ll still finish above them regardless.

Only because Arteta has set them up like that, Partey is a box to box midfielder, he'll improve their midfield no doubt. But yeah we'll still finish above them but this does improve them.

United, in desperate need of 2 CB's, goes for Sancho all window. Moves to Ousmane Dembele with 2 days left. Fail to get him too. You think they'd go for CB's now instead, right? Nope! They decide to go for 2 youth wingers for £40m. They'll sack Ole in a month or 2, expect it all to be better with Poch only to realize he's going to want backing with his players and is going to want them to go after actual players of need, which is not what Woodward ever does. They just dont realize the problem at the club is Woodward himself.

Yes, but it doesn't matter who's in their midfield if they don't also bolster with two or three good defenders. They have absolutely no quality at CB.

The quality of BBC football punditry has declined a lot recently. I tried to listen to their Football Daily podcast today and i was shocked at how bad it was.
