Absolutely gutted for Gateshead.
Surprised by that. Also still massively bitter that Gateshead were unable to compete.Come On You Bees!
Oops!
So was I. They were absolutely shite today and a questionable line up by the manager. Didn’t the council fuck Gateshead over?Surprised by that. Also still massively bitter that Gateshead were unable to compete.
Well - it's kind of 'he said she said'. The EFL expect a minimum 10 year lease on a stadium and Gateshead council, being very short of funds as most councils are (f*****g Tories) are trying to offload the stadium to a private contractor and therefore although they tried to offer a 10 year guarantee, there had to be a stipulation and the EFL were not willing to accommodate that.So was I. Bromley v Solihull playoff final. Will be the first time in the EFL for whoever wins.
Routing for Bromley, my local team!
Bromley have been the bridesmaids so many times - it would be nice to see them finally make it.It'll be Bromley.
As an Altrincham fan, I was delighted Solihull smashed Barnet, as I think we'd have walked over them at Wembley.
Alas, wasn't to be. In reality I don't think either Alty or Moors are ready for the EFL, Bromley may have a fighting chance.
Just read this - quite an article! I thought that I had reached the happy ending before I got to the actual end.A decent, if sobering read about Southend.
