Yesterday he was saying a player would be announced today. Bet it's related to that.
Yes, he pretty much said that despite not liking to give timescales one would be announced today. I think he also alluded to it being a Brazilian as well.

Edit: This was it:

Sorry I've been quiet today but Tomorrow will have a somewhat Latin feel. I've put a timeline on it. And I FUCKING hate timelines #SCITK

If you follow this guy, he's now started a blog because of lack of characters on twitter. Here you go...

Welcome to theSPURSinsider View...

For new followers and by way of an update to those already aware of my tweets - this is where we stand.

Make no mistake that the squad will take a very different shape come September 1st. Below are the inbound deals that will or will not happen...:ROFLMAO:

Llorente – In the mix and confident.

This is the one that Levy wants and is confident of getting. My tweets yesterday of an agreed deal were a little premature. He is the number one target and the players wish to join the club, gives us the advantage

Moutinho – Will be a Spurs player...Simple!

Carroll – The one I get the most stick for and the one I stand by. Of course dependant on Llorente, but should that not happen – Andy Carroll is a target, discussions have taken place and the Liverpool front man could well be at the Lane from September 1st.

Lloris – Will be Spurs' keeper very soon. lots of reasons around the delay of all these deals, however this is one that will happen.

Butland – A lot depends on the above, at worst he will be loaned back to Birmingham City for the season. The deal may not at this stage be made official.

Damaio – Never doubted there was interest. Just never going to happen.

Willian – Similar to the Damaio deal. Don’t doubt interest in the player, be would expect it might be a little to difficult to get through this window.

Sturridge - The Victor Moses deal makes this a lot more likely. Again dependant on other deals but one to watch out for...deadline day

@QPRTimes: Mark Hughes says Dawson deal is 'not where I hoped it would be'. Problem with personal terms.

This to me looks like Levy is getting his 'flock' of ducks in a row. Between now and next Friday @11pm he will choose the plumpest ducks.

Has seen a photo of someone at the lane who he thinks looks like Pini Zahavi...

akqayid@akqayid
And if that is Pini.... Could be discussion on Moutinho. LD. Pretty much fucking anyone

So that clarifies matters (y)

The insider view makes me a little confused, it suggests we are after Llorente and if that fails we'll sign Carroll and ASLO go for Sturridge which would give us Ade, Defoe, Sturidge and Llorente/Carroll - that just seems too far away from what we have and not really a balance unless you see either Ade or Llorente playing with two of Bale/Lennon/Sturidge/Defoe. If we got Llorente you'd have to play him and Ade so thats either a 2 up top or 3 with Bale. That only makes sense if Willian is not coming, which he says but a lot of others disagree on that. Then there is Leandro - very confident that isn't happening but at least he/she says we are interested. As for the keepers there has been no other word on them for weeks. All very conflicting at the moment, then the Isco link comes back again!!!!
