Bissouma is a fantastic player. He's obviously finding it hard to adapt to whatever Conte is asking him. But he'll come good, he's a brilliant midfielder.
I have no doubt at all. I think he has a challenge as Bentancur and Holjberg have actually been very good to date. Not easy to come on and influence a game. As you say it will take some time.

The recent west ham debacle throwing a 3 goal lead with 10mins to go, at home, that takes some beating. Actually that ws similar problem as tonight, thinking the game was done when it fucking isn't. I dont know why professional footballers find that so hard to understand. Tbf I do think with that many subs you're asking for it ut against 10men??? Jeez.

I think the way we play being against 10 men isn’t the advantage it should be as we don’t seem to be able to keep the ball for long periods.

People either have short memories or haven’t been Spurs fans long enough….. I still remember being 3 up against City and losing 4-3….. and a shit City team with Shaun Goater in it as well.
And 10 men as well,Johnnie bloody Jackson showboating started that particular disaster.

Just leaving the ground. Why do we make it hard for ourselves?? We should’ve been out of sight but shoot ourselves in the feet again.

Kane’s cross to Gill was shameful too
Shooting yourself in the foot is bad enough but both feet???
Christ. ;)

Despite a horrible final 7 mins or so, thought that was largely a good performance and we looked really comfortable from the moment Son scored until the ~86th minute.

Pretty clear it was a combination of lots of subs, system changes and complacency that let them back into it, but freak ending aside I feel positive about how we played.

And most importantly, we got the result. COYS!

Nobodys crying. Just discussing how we nearly through away what should have been a comfortable win in a must win game.
Worthy of discussion imo.
Exactly, but we’re not allowed to criticise at all because we won.

We SHOULD have seen that out professionally and won 3-1, you just cannot keep conceding late goals like that, especially when they’re a man down.

I thought for a while that Conte was holding us back but he is in fact overachieving with this squad. Look beyond the few top stars we have and it's bang average. And the bad players are holding us back. Massive, sustained investment in better players needed.

Snobby fans crying after a game we've just won, now that's embarrassing.
Fans have the right to analyse the game and demand certain standards. I'm sure the players and Conte will be doing the same rather than thorougly congratulating themselves. - "We go again and work even harder."

Bryan showing what he can offer again, really hope he gets more game time off the bench in the league.

Deffo deserves to be above Lucas in the pecking order.
There is a player there it's just whether he can bulk up a little to compete in the more physical league. I really like him, I just hope we keep him as I can see him getting binned off.

Just as a general comment I thought Frankfurt were exceedingly lucky not to finish the game with 8 men. The ref took an extreme amount of pity on that Hasebe, and then the defender who just gave up and brought down Gil was making zero attempt to play the ball and was last man.

Ref could definitely have been harsher on their transgressions.

I reckon conte is running around the dressing room slapping them over the head about now.

For 70 minutes we were good though.
