You always have to remember that there are certain posters (and indeed mods) who struggle with the concept that Spurs fans have different opinions....on a discussion forum. It appears to be splitting the atom stuff to them that some people are unhappy when we're losing (and I guess by definition, happy when we win?).
Lovely, more drivel.

You obviously mean me when you say mods so have the balls to front up instead of being oily about it.

My problem, and i've said this many MANY times, isn't the opinions themselves, it's the form that takes, often with far too much vitriol. So I don't struggle with the 'concept' as much as you think, sadly it's clear the same cannot be said of you.

What YOU "always have to remember" is that i'm allowed my opinion too and if I think someone is posting a load of bollocks i'll damn well say so, but thank you for this totally holier than thou, ignorant and chip on the shoulder bullshit.

Struggle with the concept my arse. What rot.

Your own posts are hardly good examples of restrained comment.
You are often personal and rude in abusive terms.
if you weren't a senior mod, keeper of the big stick
you would have had to ban yourself years ago.

haha, it's been a while since you gave the chip on your shoulder an airing, you always taken far too much of what I say literally just to feed the chip. From you this stupidity is no surprise at all :D

Go on, crack on. You've been waiting...............

Well, if you didn't then I apologise for flying off the handle. If you did, then obviously I meant it :playful:

Either way, it's snapped Che Guevara out of his trance so at least something positive has come of it.

It’s a funny one because, in my opinion, there was a 50/50 split in performance levels last night.
The back 3 and CM2 were excellent. The WBs and front 3 were average - too many poor final balls &/or choices in particular.

Hopefully Son, Kane & Perisic find some form and things will click. I honestly believe our problem is individual rather than collective. And that’s a good thing; it’s better than being a disorganised mess. Form is temporary and all that

I've said it for weeks. We play better with Sessegnon at lwb, over Perisic.

I think it's more to do with his engine and mobility.

Sessegnon has the ability to be a big player for us. Getting him and Spence in gear at the same time could kick the team on a bit.

But I don't think it's as simple as just throwing them in. Players sometimes take a while to start really showing consistency and their quality, even Bale took a while...........Fingers crossed they both kick on. Time will tell.

Sess getting called "Emerson" by the BT commentator last night was a kick in the 'nads.

He wasn't forced to sign for the club. Spence is a talented championship defender, and must have known he wasn't Contes choice.
How would he have known he wasn't Conte choice? The club tried several times to buy him but there was a difference in valuation so I would assume he thought he was wanted when we went back a few times. I'm sure he didn't expect to walk straight into the team but I think he thought he might get the odd 30 mins or so, especially as RWB is our problem position.

The interesting thing with peri is, although he's not that consistent in a game, he will do something pretty brilliant and his set pieces are excellent. There were two moments when he beats his man and broke into the box and 1 time he floated a great ball up for kane and richie to attack, the other he put it across the near post for son to shoot wide.

I was thinking, that perhaps playing perisic in the midfield 3 could be an option.

There must have been talks between the club and him/his agent. I dont think players are bought, without them knowing the managers plan.

Maybe it's the reason he doesn't play him because he wasn't consulted? I hope not as I would like to see him playing sometime this season.

I literally said “Was it a good showing, absolutely not I completely agree” so really not sure how I’m being “dishonest” really. For me the context of his age, game time, CL debut etc makes it unsurprising. Doesn’t mean he wasn’t bad. He was, I agree. But personally I don’t think one can read to much into it at this stage. Personally im not going to write off a player based on 17 mins of CL football but i appreciate the arguments against him.
I wasn’t suggesting you were dishonest - I’m just saying you can’t polish a turd and he was crap last night. He should not be written off as a result

I do feel he is the exact kind of talent we've signed who Conte was referring to though. He is just never going to be a prem player, he's so small and weak and we aren't talking about an 18/19 year old. He is just another example of a massive failing by our scouting team.

100% both have the raw potential and physicality to be perfect for us will just take some time especially for Spence.
Perisic will be great for Sess to learn from.

We have Udogie coming next year, who has by far the best talent IMO. He has everything we are looking for and I hope to see him and Spence dominating the wings next season.
