Maybe I'm a bit ignorant to the career of Benzema but it feels like this season he's all of a sudden become absolutely incredible?

I know he's always been a very good striker, but...

He’s always been incredibly consistent but his numbers since Ronaldo left Real are insane.

For me Benzema has always been magnificent.

Maybe it's because over the years there's been tonnes of amazing strikers whereas now you can count them on one hand.

I watched it and still can't believe he did it, especially at such a crucial point in the game. I'm not sure if it was utter brilliance or utter madness. Think if he had missed? Still great to have watched though.
