Bad day at the office but pretty much nowhere near full strength - imo Walker should be 2nd choice RB these day.

Ah well. A shame but hey ho. Could do us good in the long run, who knows.
Don't want to hear that, it was only realistically 3 more games until the final... We had a great shot at getting there.

Gutless from our lot after 2nd half, seemed to go to shit when we took Dembele off

Disappointing. Let's hope we play much better in the league. Could act as a wake up call like the Newcastle and Leicester games did and rather get that in the cup than the league.

Any other season and this would be really shit however with each round it will get harder and more and more games could hamper our challenge for the league etc..

Simply put I'd sacrifice the F.A. Cup for either the league or Europa.

The good thing is the mentality of our coach and team is great so you genuinely believe they will learn from this.
no good things come out of today imo
home draw in the 5th round of a cup we havent won in for 25 fucking years and we blow it

Oh well. We actually did enough to win it but no cutting edge and i think we were due a game where luck didn't go our way. Hopefily us fans remember we are still second in the league and have the best team we've had for a while. Keep the faith.

We'll bounce back.

I think it's pretty clear that you can't expect to progress in any competition unless you take it fully seriously. Either play your strongest side or it's going to come unstuck at some point.

If anything, I'd like us to ditch the EL and go full throttle on the league. We simply don't have a chance in the EL unless we play our strongest team every game. We can't afford to do that.

Our problem was not being clinical; decision making in the final 3rd (a theme now) and ineffectiveness from set-pieces.

I enjoyed the game and we have to give palace credit as they made themselves a factor in the game and came to achieve something.

Just a frustrating day more than anything else.

Take it on the chin and go focus on the league.
