Ok I agree with the first bit, but Adebayor was never fit to even lace Berbs boots! And I'm talking about never in his whole career! Berbs was hitting over 20 goals a season for us plus that many assists! How was Adebayor better? Holding the ball up?? Berbatov was the best player we've had in yonks years in that department as well.

I didn't say better i said more effective, and i also specified in the league. In his two seasons he got 12 and 15 goals respectivly, Ade got 17 with a huge amount of assists in his first aswell so if he can find some form again we have a player who could privide the levels that Berbatov had, regardless who is better then who. If Ade can do that who knows, he has previous for not.

Yeah just think of who Berbs had behind him and who Ade had. If berbs played in this tottenham current team as he proved with Man Utd, he'd be top scorer

I would just love it if the core of our business was done relatively early so AVB gets a proper pre season. I really think that's so important. Obviously not everything can be done perfectly in a timing sense, its unrealistic to think it can be. But those pieces of the jigsaw we need, would be great to see AVB getting stuck in during pre season with players he needs to implement his vision for the upcoming season.

Would be a great signing imo....challenge Lennon, can play on the left of an attacking 3, will provide creativity and pace. I don't really care it's another midfielder tbh, we don't have anyone really like him and we're all confident we'll get a striker at some point so it doesn't really matter if this happens before. Mind you, this is the bit where at least on person will complain that we need a striker.

Wonder who the other one is? Didn't someone say Villa had visited, but then Gards probs would have put that info upright cos everyone knows we're interested....hmmmm

so is he equally as comfortable on the left and the right?

he wouldn't be harder to get. The club has no money and Douglas has nearly moved a couple of times, including to Newcastle the other week. Until Joe came in and cancelled it.

He has said its "miles away", and a young player who he would love with "#potential". Not comfortable saying who yet.

Can't see anyone else in their squad (although they have a defender whose name is almost certainly pronounced Andreas Bellend)!
