I'm pleased that Akqayid has lifted the spirits in here but he does have a tendency to jump the gun slightly, understandably so. I think I will be waiting for JJ or POTLt to corroborate before I get excited.

In any case it seems like the defeat to Valencia in which we played well but lacked an edge has kicked our transfer movements into action.

- natural heightened urgency as league starts get closer
- Olympics coming to end (re Leandro)
- Internacional have signed a striker
- Man City desperate to get moving on incomings and the Ade deal has been going on for so long it had to end sometime or rival Coronation Street as Britain's longest running saga

Yes, it would seem to be a slight problem with the "cunning plan" . I suspect that Ade and Lloris are a lot more advanced than Leandro. Let's wait and see
