Ah dear. Poor Jasper, sounds like he's having a tough run of it just now.

Have never understood people's needs to abuse or ridicule posters that pass info on. Internet unfortunately gives an immediate voice to complete idiots.

Hopefully he has a change of heart and keeps on posting.

Can someone invite him to come here?

I was on it and left 2012. I cannot stand sniggering and how people get away with digging people out. I liked Archi, Roger and Jasper with people like Ben from other forums. I noticed how certain itk's would get abuse and slaughtered, and nothing was done about it. I did not want to belong to a forum like that and my friend told me about this one. Would love to have Jasper on here if it is possible.

Whatever the plan may be, there's a decent chance the league season will be over in the next two weeks. Diabolical start.

Yeah ffs, Leicester are running away with it aren't they?

Personally despite the reservations by some I'm pretty confident in Ghost's info. The midfield thing will also get sorted I'm sure - Dier is not the long term answer and is providing a stop gap until it's sorted imo.

I know Jasper and we exchange Pm's, I have asked him but I have invited him over here before.

Hilarious.

The transfer window closes in two weeks. At the end of it, I fully expect we'll have a very good, balanced squad. Our signings so far have been good.

Bring in Berhanio (spl) and a CM that we're apparently pushing for and we're good. There was enough yesterday and at OT to be fair to suggest we can actually be a very solid defensive team. We've made good, astute signings.

In all reality this has been a great transfer window for us. Deadwood gone and players we badly needed brought it. And more to follow by the rumblings of the ITK.

We had a bad result yesterday. Nothing's on fire. Plenty of time left in the TW to bring in more players we need and move those we don't on.

Leicester are top of the league. That's how long is left of the season.

Yup. I actually find Dier's role in midfeild positive. Poch clearly has a player in mind to come in and slot in there. And hell, if we don't get him, ERic's been good. I could see him grow into that role.

We're clearly in the market for a CM to play a more defensive role. The ITK and our starting line-ups should actually make us all quite optimistic about how we're going to address the leaky defense we had last year.

And Toby and Jan, despite that balls up yesterday are a solid base for a CDM to sit behind.

Why do you think the members on this forum would be any better than those on SO? Based on the various ****ish posts on here I doubt it somehow

There is more chance those sorts of members and their posts would be removed on here

Goat:

One of our midfield options is proving difficult as is our preferred striker option (Berahino). So other opportunities are also being explored. The Goat hears that we can expect one of each although just who is up in the air at the moment. Austin? No.

Does this mean we end up with Embolo and Miereles?
ie some good and some perhaps not so.

We got A&C with his anal intruder ban stick and he's not afraid to use it.

I think our ITKs are mostly respected on here, yes there is a few idiots but they most crash and burn pretty quickly.

I would love to have more ITKs on here. They make the transfer windows the fun that they are.
Pinch of salt and all that.
If, as it appears, he's in a bad place maybe he's better off out of it for a while to sort his personal life out.

The bit on Berahino makes a lot of sense to me.

All transfer business has to be viewed in the context of the 2016-2017 television deal. More than ever, a team like West Brom should be desperate not to be in a relegation fight, as they'd stand to take in 110+ million pounds in television revenue if they repeat their previous 13th place finish next year. Within that context, is it worth it to sell your best player for 15-18 million pounds so late in the window? They really don't need to sell financially. They made a solid profit in 2013-2014 and spent 17 million pounds NET last season, so a slightly bigger spend for them (currently 21 million pounds NET) shouldn't be an issue if they believe they can guarantee survival and secure their place in the league for years to come off that influx of new cash. If Berahino goes, they're relying on Lambert who is coming off a horrid season and is aging, and Rondon, who is entirely unproven in this league.

Now, if we were talking a figure in the 25+ million pound range, maybe they'd hedge their bets a bit more. Maybe that extra 7-10 million pounds would help them convince a quality player to join them in the waning days of the window that they think would help them stay up and they'd get the Berahino fee to help Pulis continue to build in January. Absent that figure, I think it'd make a lot of sense to hold onto the player (so long as he doesn't go on strike and become massively disruptive-no indication of that yet, in fact Pulis has indicated total professionalism on SB's part). You can always sell him next season once he's assured your place in the EPL again, and still get at least 10 million pounds for him, as there will still be suitors for him with a year left on his contract.

This is the type of secondary impact all the television money has had. West Brom has taken in an extra 55 million pounds in television revenue in 2013-2015 versus 2011-2013. If this was 2012, we'd almost certainly have gotten Berahino in already. As things stand now, I think exploring the continental market makes much more sense. Of course, those continental teams also know English clubs are raking in huge cash, so they won't sell cheaply either (which might be why the midfield option mentioned above in the ITK snippet is also proving difficult).

Cause A&C has a special room and toys for those who bash itkers.

Never understood why people feel the need to bash. You don't believe what's being said, fair enough just keep it to yourself. Also taking the piss of someones grammar? Snobbery at it's worse. You don't know the person you are critiscising. What if english isn't their first language, they have special needs etc... If you can't understand them ask for clarrification don't take the piss.

Anyway hope things go better for jasper. If anyone does get in touch with him wish him our best. Have not heard anything from archibald or potl for ages. Hope they are alright too.

Back to itk.

Because I have had no issues whatsoever since I came across. The general cross section of forum members may be the same, but sounds to me the way the two site's are run and moderated are clearly worlds apart. I have had plenty of advice from the mods here(as was the same on COYS), and also been told that should there be an issue either via PM or through the forum itself the full support of those that matter can very much be counted on. So has Operation Bring Jasper to SC commenced yet? Hate to see an itk have to go through that shit constantly without the abusing posters being punished.

These guys bring info here out of the goodness of their hearts. They dont have to do it. We should be thanking them and giving them praise for their efforts!
