Just assumed that because he's been through a couple of cash-rich clubs they would be paying him a lot more.

If we can get him in Anzi's fire sale and offer him a modest enough wage increase, he may well prove a bargain.

Yep that's what I was thinking, I also think if we offloaded Ade we could bring in Will and use Chad as our third choice centre forward as he can play their, then next summer demand Morata again from RM in the Bale sale. Maybe if we are in the CL he would be more interested in coming.

The Goat hears that Lamela is a real option and that discussions are going on and that the Vlad deal might not be completely dead yet either. There are also rumblings that Bernard has signed for SD ;-)

Interesting update from the Goat, surprised by the Bernard info though I thought that deal was completed a couple of days ago.

Vlad and Lamela would be the finishing touches on a league winning team in my opinion, although I can only see Lamela coming in as Bale's replacement, hopefully as an understudy this season and as actual replacement for next season
