Voted good. Wanted more, BUT I'm happy with the outgoings, and the possibility of their loans being a shop window for their talents, and more importantly I'm Loving the attitude, skillset, and general aura of the two guys we did bring in. They seen so grateful to be here, which I truly didn't expect.

If getting top4 for 21/22 is the objective, then
6.5/10 for the window, if we just look at Spurs in isolation
10/10 for the window, if we compare Spurs vs top4 rivals

Oddly none of the top4 rivals United, Arsenal & WestHam signed anyone in Jan window Infact, Arsenal & United have weakened. Arsenal strike force is now Lacazette & Nkiteah together have 3 goals this season, also their contract is ending in summer. United having sent out Martial & Van De Beek and have also lost Greenwood due to his misdemeanours.

We have cleared up the deck and basically got out players who together started 1 PL game under Conte and brought in 2 players with over 250 Juve Caps and 66 national caps. Both are just quite young and can be molded by Conte how he needs.

Traore was Paratici choice not necessarily Conte choice - in the end we didnt push the boat on that. Dias was again a opportunistic move which fell through. With RWB, who was in the market we could go for - there was simply no candidate in market. So sane thing IMO, is clear the deck and wait for the summer to move.

Atleast now we dont need to sell to buy in summer. You would hope that 3 who went on loan will play well to either extend their loan or get a move to bigger club.

Conte did want Traore just only as a RWB and not an impact forward (which he is) hence why that wasn't going to happen and he wasn't keen either. Once Barca flashed their tits he was only going to 1 place....

I think we'll lock this for now as the Post Mortem thread is starting to get traffic and this one detracts.
