There is no way on earth Poch goes to Arsenal.

Stranger things have happened. Fans are misguided about the "loyalty" they think Managers and players have towards their club. If you told a Gooner in the early 90's that by the end of the decade George Graham would be Spurs manager they'd have laughed at you. Graham was Arsenal through and through. Now we have Mourinho as our Manager etc.

Poch doesn't really give a toss about Spurs, and even less about the fans. It is a job to him, or as he so often used to put it "a project". If one of the big boys don't come in for him and Arsenal offer him the right incentives, he'd be there like a shot.

Silva could be gone next. It sounds like the fans want him gone already and their next fixtures are Leicester, Liverpool, Chelsea, Man Utd and Arsenal. I can't see him lasting to Christmas.

That’s about the worst run of fixtures I’ve seen in a long time.

Can see Arsenal going for Arteta. He was very close to getting it last time and their board are stupid enough to think that just cause hes a rated coach at City he'll be good enough to do a job there.

He will also work well within their tight financial restrictions and won't kick up a fuss when he can't spend.

It's why Mourinho was never a realistic option cause he'd have wanted to have a big change around and they can't pay more than 40m in one summer.

If they fail for CL, which they will, then they will really have to go for a cheap option.

It's also why they got Emery, available, cheap and works within the infrastructure and tight financials.

They have no ambition and it's starting to show.

Everton should go for Benitez, but I'm not sure he'd take it after his Liverpool ties.

Arteta would be better off going to Everton, they seem to have real ambition and a bit of cash to spend, they don’t have a great squad, but at they same time they don’t have any over paid millstones like Ozil hanging around their neck.

Everton...in a bit of a fix. Their manager is shite and needs sacking but who the hell would they actually be able to get!?
Marcelino is available. He can set up a solid defence, which they need quick considering their next 5 games. He's an Europa League or higher level manager and with Everton's vast cash I could see him being tempted. Only downside is no prem experience

The Everton fan I work with wanted the speaker to announce it on the tannoy straight after the final whistle had gone, ans was genuinely annoyed that a Club Statement hadn't been made when out shifts ended last night.

To say he's fed up is an understatement.

With the league being so tight they're only a win or two away from a respectable position, but with the fixtures they've got coming up they could easily be in the bottom three soon.

Everton board are a bit of a joke. Crazy moyes is even being considered again.

It says for an initial short term deal to steady the ship, kinda tells you that there's not many managers out there at the moment and they're waiting until the end of the season. I could see Howe going there because it's a step up for him.

Everton is the kind of club Howe, Dyche etc should be going to like you say it’s a step up, ambitious club etc. It’s always so daft when people suggest those two for clubs like Spurs and Arsenal.

18 months, a lot of spending, results consistently poor and no sign of improvement. Can't see how he turns this around.

With arsenal and Everton having problems so glad we got Jose when we did even though negotiations had obviously been going on the timing couldn't be better.

Not sure Howe would see Everton as enough of a step up to leave Bournemouth.

I think it depends on whether he wants to better his career, some people have said that potentially could be a future England manager. I can't see him getting any top 6 job so the natural progression for him would be an Everton/Leicester.

A good mate of mine is a Norwich fan. So I heard a lot about how Lambert did a good job at Colchester then took Norwich from league 1 to the Prem in two seasons before doing a very good job in his 1 season in the Prem with Norwich. He then left for Villa. I said at the time this was a suicidal move. While Villa are a bigger club they had a shit squad, no money and high fan expectations.

I see the Everton move as similar except they have some backing. Bournemouth has a better team than Everton and have similar finances. Last financial terms had Bournemouth 11th in the Prem for turnover and Everton 10th.

If Howe wants to progress his career then he can win a trophy or make a proper step up, Everton isn't anymore.

I think that you're being a bit harsh to say that Poch doesn't give a toss about the fans but people need to realise that professionals don't see loyalties from the same perspective as fans (there may be some exceptions but few and far between). Poch is entitled to go where he wants.
