Doesn't matter who they get. Sure they'll be a bit better for a bit and then suck again.
They've problems at a higher level than the manager and until that changes...
This is the good thing about managers changing every 3 years or so, you know theres gonna be a chance it'll go wrong so the top 4 should stay fluid with someone dropping out every now and then. And with these over paid tarts downing tools when they start sulking.
Unfortunately it looks like us this season :(

Well, if they don't snap him up now then I don't know who they have in mind.

Vitor Pereira has withdrawn his interest in the Everton job.

Eddie Howe could be a good appointment for them and I'd love to see what he'd do at a bigger club with a bit of money to spend. He's done brilliantly at Bournemouth, but I still have question marks over his ability to set up a defence. I'm not sure if it's just because he's at a smaller club, but they do tend to leak goals regularly.

Well, the problem is that he doesn't seem to learn from it. It has constantly been their problem.

They were strongly rumoured to be after Arteta but he's a big risk imo.
Ancelotti would be good for them..so I hope they don't get him!

Why on earth would he want to goto Everton? Fair play to them though

Mourinho situation? He gets an underdog club to prove that he can still do it. They have plenty of money slushing around. He has a chance to become a legend there if he can get them challenging for top 4 and maybe pick up a cup.

What a coup for Everton, great coach. Though Napoli showed perhaps not suited to teams with more limited resources

Why not? Working in the best league in the world, plenty of money, returning them to one of the biggest clubs in the land etc. Imagine that's a project plenty of managers would like to have a go at.

How realistic is that though? They're miles off the top 6/7 atm. Squad is massively unbalanced, and the money they've spent so far hasn't positively impacted squad quality or league position.

It's a risk an established manager like Ancelloti doesn't need to take, imo.

Would be a great opportunity for someone like Howe though, if Everton want him.
