I think a small caveat is needed in that the game was open and lacking a bit of intensity which almost certainly wont be the case in the summer.

However an encouraging display. We moved the ball about much better than usual and despite looking a bit ragged defensively at times I think fully deserved the win. All our boys an be pleased with their displays... Kane had some nice touches and scored a great goal, Dier was composed and came up with a thumping header at the death, Alli had the most composed and decisive game I have seen from him and looked extremely classy at times (lets not talk about the miss!) and Rose put in an extremely competent performance on debut that I struggle to recall from an England left back over the last few years, Ashley Cole got the majority of his 100+ caps not turning in performances as good as that. All four of them have really boosted their chances to make the team for the summer.

Enjoyable game to watch, hope this continues.
