Maybe the media can stop sucking that Liverpool cock and start on ours now.

We've made England respectable again

I thght clyne was poor, but his early ball in for vardy was great and maybe the one place he has the edge on walker.

If woy has the balls to not play rooney in the summer and play these guys tonight, then im really looking forward tot he euros.

John Murray

BBC Radio 5 live commentator at the Etihad Stadium

"This is the stuff of fairytales. Talk about sprit in Roy Hodgson’s young England team."

No, you BBC cretin, it's the Spurs boys who have spirit. Woy has nothing to do with it.

Oh but hang on......Rooney will be back in the team when he's no longer injured....he should be given the job of cutting the half time oranges and that's it.

Unsurprising England look capable when going out there to play football instead of trying to get behind the ball

Roy needs to let these guys play footy as they aren't suited to his typical game plan

It's looking rather healthy isn't it? Not convinced by our CBs though completely.

If Rooney plays it's an outrage. Injured for a chunk of the season, below par for most, 4 goals as a striker, and a 3-2 away win against Germany without him, with one of the best team performances from England in the last 10-14 years??

Great performance from our lads, now they can put their feet up for a whole week while Roy gives the rest of the squad a run-out on Tuesday.

If only we had a couple of good centre backs this team really would be up there to win it in the summer.
