Goal or Caught offside?

If its the latter I wouldn't worry.

Goal although as Jay(RyanTegan) said on twitter it was from Wayne Veysey rather than Stobart. He is more pro-Arsenal and thinks its 50-50. So probably we still have the lead. Especially with the Poch effect, possible part-ex's and the fact that Arsenal are probably even stingier than us when it comes to signing non-marquee players (mainly transfer fee wise).

People still slag off Townsend even though we've brought in a manager that got Jay Rodriguez in the England squad ffs.
Maybe just maybe he wil get the best out of his clear potential.
Give us time

Yeah...still think we're in pole position if we want him. Think Arsenal will purse other targets.

Loving the Lamela ITK. Have said that Lamela turning it on next season is the the main thing I want from next season. With his goals last night and that ITK it is looking good on that front.

If we get Shneiderlin, a centre back and either Griezman or Depay and shift a few peripheral players that will be a great summers work especially with Lloris & maybe Verts signing longer deals.

Veysey is absolute shite. He's the anti-Stobart- he's a pro-Arsenal journalist and he gets shitloads wrong. I wouldn't worry- the majority of reports suggest that he would prefer us.

Love the last piece of news from the goat. Love it. However, JJ has a point of view on Griezmann that worries me a bit if correct.

@FangioWrightson 1 in 3 games player just a big name

Lincoln ‏@adslinc @jetsetyid @FangioWrightson when you say 1 in 3 game player are you referring to AG or Depay?

I don't understand the "1 in 3 games player" remark. He scored 16 goals in 34 appearances last season, which for a winger is pretty impressive.

Give us time

I think this is the key, Pochettino needs to be given time to work with the players and develop them.

Didn't want to jinx it but does seem that way. He's always the one banging the drum of the likes of Rooney, Suarez, Khedira and Balotelli going there. He must have some links as a lead editor but think he does get carried away...

The good thing is it definitely sounds like we're going to address the CB issue which should be our first priority.
Perks of bringing in a former international defender as manager - was always gonna sort our back line.

Looking forward to the next wave of itk as I can see us bringing 3 more defenders in.

But basically it's a lot of bollocks anyway, Griezmann is their most influential player. True no player is going to manage a season without a few poor games but Griezmann's poor games have been pretty few and far between these last three seasons.

Maybe JJ has been getting an opinion from the same guy that advised the club that Suarez wouldn't be a good striker to sign, I doubt very much he's getting it from anyone who watches Sociedad on a regular basis
JJ knows Sherwood??

trix on vlaar: If we are interested, we haven't told Villa. They have had enquiries but nothing from us. My man says most likely destination atm will be Southampton.

Vlaar don't really see why we would want him, cause he had a good world cup? He has been pap for villa recently!! Just opinion but I don't rate him...
