I'll be cheering the team on as passionately as possible tomorrow at the Lane, but that doesn't mean I'm not gutted about the massive fuck up we've achieved this window. As JJ himself said - we wouldn't let VDV go without having Moutinho sorted. That was the pay off.

Except he wasn't sorted, and now we're lacking a massive part of what AVB needs to make his teams tick. I'm expecting us to do fuck all this season, and I won't be blaming AVB for that.

I'm really, REALLY curious as to why Moutinho didn't happen. Worst transfer window since Berbatov.

We've done great business this window. I'm coming to terms with no Moutinho now, Modric was unavoidable and I can see why VDV was allowed to go - he still had some value, his niggly injuries and the family situation.

If by some miracle we get Moutinho now then even better, but we have a very young an talented squad right now!
