It's been the new fad since the WC in Brazil, sooooooVilla fans taking it to a whole new level
Fulham FC? Thankfully not!No doubt Poch will be sacked if we haven't made CL this season or next, at least give him the tools to do the job by investing in the squad, but we know there is more chance of the pope converting to islam than Poch being backed
We are a Harrods club run by owners who have a 99p store mentality
Based on the fact that I think we lack goals and creativity in the forward positions, and that I'm disappointed that we didn't do more to address that/weren't more successful in any efforts we made to do so (of which we only really know about a failed attempt for Welbeck). And the fact that there isn't an absolute 'right' way to strike the balance between success on the field now and long-term sustainability, and that my opinion is that we're a shade too much in the 'saving for tomorrow' camp which may ultimately end up costing us long term. But it's all onions, as you well know. It's a short termist point of view. Based on today probably.
Yet again a person failing to step back and see the bigger picture.
Why? I can't keep up.Villa fans taking it to a whole new level
Was that our lot? Isn't that what the Fighting Cock boys were asking our lot to say on Sky.
So never mind net spend. It was profit-taking today. A little early - as this usually happens in January. Good business for the Club. More money in the coffers. The start of a five year plan. Of course it made no sense to try and improve the first team - Spurs opponents are just beyond us. We have a first-rate coach who will transform our current group of players into world beaters.
Hull & QPR have stupid, spend-thrift owners.
Spurs is a well-run club where making a profit is the paramount objective. We should be proud of that.
I think Pochettino now knows what it means to be Levied. AVB knows what that means. The tradition continues.
But the Club is making money. And we should all be pleased with that.
I don't have faith in Levy no, not anymore. I like Poch, but I do feel sorry for him now.
We bought 5 attackers, of which I harbour hope for Lamela and Eriksen. A fully fit Soldado isn't fancied as a malaria riddled Adebayor is preferred to him. Chadli I don't rate. He's come to the PL and he seems to have no intention of even attempting to adapt to the faster pace. Someone told him Pirlo looks good playing at his own pace and he thinks that applies to wingers too.
I trust Poch's judgement too, hence why I'm concerned. We know that for the right price Lennon, Townsend, Soldado, Ade and Chadli could have gone. That's not particularly reassuring.
As for the toy throwing, yes there are some overly dramatic posts in here. However I can understand. Not everyone has the same superior patience as others obviously have and where passion and disappointment merge, you will see dramatic posts. If you're not used to it after all these years then I fear these windows will become seriously repetitive, with Spurs disappointing us, fans reacting badly and a select few posting the same kind of posts in reply. It's getting boring.
Our rivals are Swansea and NewcastleI would not be so angry if our rivals hadn't splashed the cash and strengthened but every single one that finished above us and the one that finished directly below us have upgraded massively while we have at best stood still and at worst regressed
Our rivals are Swansea, Newcastle now for 7th place instead of our rivals being Liverpool and Arsenal for 4th
It is a totally unacceptable situation and a rightful cause of anger
" WINNER"I cannot endorse the selling of Sandro. I'm not so het up about things other people seem to be angry about, but I fully believe Sandro would've won Poch over and ended up being invaluable as this season progressed, as long as he found fitness.
It was worth the chance. Well worth the chance, to play it out and see.
Disgusted to see him in QPR colours on twitter.
