When people say we spend within our means, I agree. It's when QPR (bad example due to their gross mismanagement, but we are a much bigger club) and Everton, Swansea and Hull have good windows in relative terms, I wonder if we are spending way below our means.

Liverpool have a system put in place by having a manager for more than 5 mins. The players he's bought fit that system. With Spurs, Baldini bought players that AVB didn't want for his system. We then sack him, get an idiot, sack him and get someone else. He needs time to create and implement his system. Then we can sell Lamela for millions to Madrid in two years' time, buy 5 players Poch wants and knows will fit into his pre-existing system and the radar won't even blip.

That's the difference between us buying 7 players and Liverpool doing it.

Relax. FFS. Outside of perhaps Chelsea and City, and maybe not even then, all teams feel they are missing things. The goons want a striker and a CB, Utd want a new defence and midfielders, Pool need a new defence and aren't convinced by their keeper, Everton lack serious depth.

This green-eyed little man syndrome is not specific to THFC.
