I am all about Edouard as I think he is future star but one quick look at Weghorst and I can totally see the appeal. The guy is an absolute unit, defences would be intimidated by him. Becomes a serious plan B option as well as rotation/backup. Llorente++

The last time this place and our transfer window went into this kind of overdrive was ironically the last few days of that window when we sold Bale. We were signing people left, right and centre.

Last summer was not too shabby either. We had Coutinho, Bruno, Lo Celso and of course Dybala driving us in circles but only one materialised.

Got some way to go yet today but it has the feels of the Bale sale window.

Without wishing to de-rail the thread ... remember a bloody age ago when there was a perfect STORM brewing. And it turned out STORM was STars Of Real Madrid?

Odd how I just remembered that - but, yeah, that seems like a missed opportunity by the current ITKs to not bring that back in the current reminiscing mood.
